The City Hall of Rhodes

The town hall of the city of Rhodes is one of the most important historical buildings on the island. The building, located in the city center, is a typical example of architecture, during the Italian occupation on the island. It is a large building, which should be highlighted with a complete and well-designed lighting design proposal in the context of the aesthetic and energy upgrade of the building. This lighting study was conducted with the aim of highlighting all the morphological features of the facade of the building. Its goal is to stay true to the rationality and symmetry that characterizes the architecture of the building but at the same time to highlight the clear lines of the openings throughout their height. At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the protrusion of the central volume of the entrance but also on its scale as the dominant architectural members of the building.
